Captured heart card

Captured heart Valentine's card

Description

A deckle edge card has a square of brown corrugated card mounted on the outside. On this is mounted a cut-out heart in red corrugated card. This is bound with gold cord. Words "You've Captured My Heart" stamped and embossed in gold. Card edged with glitter.


Materials used

  • White single fold deckle edge greetings card 104mm x 152mm (4.1in x 6in)
  • Rubber stamp PSX F-1984 You've Captured My Heart
  • Brown corrugated card
  • Red corrugated card
  • Gold cord
  • Gold inkpad
  • Gold embossing powder
  • Red Glitter Glue
  • Double-sided self-adhesive foam pads
  • Heat tool

Method

Cut a square of brown corrugated card 55mm x 55mm (2.1in x 2.1in). Glue this to the card.

Cut out a heart from red corrugated card. Bind the heart with gold cord. Mount the heart on the corrugated square with double sided self adhesive foam pads.

Stamp and emboss the message with gold ink and gold embossing powder.

Edge the card with red glitter glue.
